Core Return

DO YOU HAVE A CORE THAT NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP? 

 

Please contact Drivetrain Direct to schedule your core return when it is ready for pickup. 

 

*If a customer returns the item themselves, without contacting Drivetrain Direct, they will be responsible for paying all of the freight. The customer will not be reimbursed for the cost of the freight if they do not contact Drivetrain Direct to return the unit.*

 

Return Guidelines: 

 

For core credit, the core must be: 

 

  • Returned in original packaging
  • Fully assembled and to the same build level as the replacement part provided by Drivetrain Direct
  • Visually remanufacturable

 

Important:

 

We are more than happy to pickup core units from either the purchaser or the installer.

 

Please contact Drivetrain Direct to schedule your core return when it is ready for pickup. This applies to most U.S. customers. Outside of the U.S. a core charge will be evaluated as the core may not be cost effective to return back. 

 

Notes: 

 

We will schedule the pickup and send the appropriate paperwork to you!

Please Print out (3) Copies of the bill of lading. 1 for your records, 1 to tape to the outside of the unit's box, as well as 1 to hand to the freight truck driver. 

Best practice for cores is to Completely Finish the install of the new unit before reaching out, this prevents the possibility of nuts/bolts/etc of being left on the old unit and shipped back.
