Our core program is designed to save you both time and money with a straightforward, no-cost, no-hassle experience from start to finish. When you're ready, Drivetrain Direct's professional team will coordinate core pickup and take care of all the details—it's that easy.
Once your new part is installed, our in-house logistics team takes over. We coordinate the pickup of your old core from you or your designated repair shop and cover all shipping costs. There are no hidden fees or complicated forms, just a simple, convenient process handled by our experts. That’s the Drivetrain Direct way.
Easy Core Return
Follow these simple steps to ensure a smooth, no-cost return:
- Complete Your Install: To prevent losing bolts or small components, please ensure the installation of your new unit is completely finished before scheduling the core pickup.
- Contact Us to Schedule: Call or email us when the core is ready. We will schedule the freight pickup and email you the Bill of Lading (BOL) paperwork.
- Prepare for Pickup: Print three (3) copies of the BOL. Keep one for your records, tape one to the outside of the original packaging, and give the third to the driver.
Important Notes & Guidelines
Crucial Reminder: You must contact Drivetrain Direct to schedule the return. If you return the core on your own, you will be responsible for the full cost of freight and will not be reimbursed.
Core Condition Guidelines: To receive full core credit, the unit must be returned in its original packaging, fully assembled to the same build level as the replacement part, and be visually remanufacturable.
Pickup Flexibility: We are happy to coordinate the core pickup from your location or directly from your installer's repair shop. This service applies to most U.S. customers; international customers may be subject to a core charge.
